ఏదో సరదాకి మాత్రమే సుమా..!

 Hi all,


Here i would like to share about my village.

I think you all know that my village is GHANTASALA.

Also my grand father name is VENKATESWARLU.

YES AAYANA MANAVADI NE.... (from aadi movie.. :) )

Ok Can i start............?

My village name is Ghatasala.

In the age of ashoka, it is called as Tankasala.

I love my village(Routine dialogue :) )

Ghantasala is a Mandal & It has 18 villages included in it.

It is famous as one of the buddha tourist place in Andhra Pradesh.

Hundreds of years back Bay of Bengal extended up to our village.

Later on it slowly went back (cause is may be people started KABJAS).

Ok ok.. ;)

In the time of ashoka, currency used to be print in our village.

So its named as TANKASALA (Place of printing coins).

The remains found in various places of our village are kept in the museum.

One marble stone budhha statue (with out head & legs) is the main attraction.

Of course it is once stolen & found later cause its value in market is
more than 10 lakhs .
